The Weho Sausage Co, based outside Los Angeles, sadly has gone out of business. In a search for how to responsibly dispose of their leftover inventory of takeout bags, their owner and management team discovered Love, Recycle to be a good new home for their compostable, woven, reusable bags. Unfortunately, we couldn't take all they had, but thanks to one of our local LA volunteers, we were able to manage picking up roughly 1,500 bags!! That is 1,500 less plastic bags in our community. So awesome. Thank you again to Weho & Co. We hope your closure is only a small speed bump in your journey, and we hope to hear about any new food adventures you have lined up!
